I am glad for the opportunity to help you achieve your goals of relaxation and/or pain free movement.
Following are my policies regarding the work we will be doing together.
1. You are expected to arrive no later than your appointment time.
2. The amount of time scheduled is the actual treatment time and should begin approximately five minutes from your appointment time. (I do not charge for the time it takes to check in and check out)
3. If you arrive late, the amount of time you are late will be deducted from the treatment time and you will be charged for the entire scheduled time.
4. If I am late, I will make up for it by
A: I will extend your appointment end time by the amount of time I am late.
or, if adding to the appointment end time
causes a schedule conflict for either of us
B: I will deduct, at a per minute rate, the cost of the amount of time I am late, from the total cost of your scheduled time.
5. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give me as much notice as possible, 24 hours notice is appreciated, so the appointment can be given to someone else.
A: If you miss an appointment without giving any notice, I will charge you for the total cost of the missed appointment.
B: If I miss an appointment without giving you notice, I will give you your next appointment at no cost.
C: If you cancel or reschedule with less than 3 hours notice, and we cannot get you scheduled within the same week, I will charge you 50% of the total cost of the missed appointment.
D: If I reschedule your appointment without giving you 3 hours notice and we cannot get you scheduled within the same week, I will give you your next appointment at a 50% discount.
If there are extenuating circumstances (accidents, illness, etc) we may come to another agreement.
6. Massage therapies should not be received when certain medical conditions exist. You are responsible for making me aware of all of your medical conditions and to inform me of all changes in your health.
7. I will not prescribe or diagnose. I may make suggestions regarding your health, but it is ultimately your responsibility to consult your doctor.
8. If you are under the care of a Doctor or have severe health problems it may be necessary for me to contact your Medical Doctor or other health care provider(s) to discuss your condition. I will get your permission first.
9. inappropriate conduct will result in the immediate termination of your session. If your session is terminated for this reason, you will be expected to pay for the entire appointment time.
I reserve the right to refuse service at any time for any reason.
10. Prices are subject to change. Price increase will take effect thirty days following receiving written notice of increase.
11. A discount is given in two ways
A: You are a senior and eligible for the senior discount.
B: You purchase a package of four or more sessions. This discount cannot be combined with the senior discount. One prepaid session will be considered redeemed for each missed appointment for which I was not given notice under policy

12. Information you share with me is confidential. I will not disclose anything you share without your permission. The only exception is when disclosing information you have shared will prevent serious harm from occurring to you or another person.
13. Our work together will be most beneficial if we communicate well. Please let me know if something I do is not right for you. For example: if the pressure is too deep or too light. Please tell me if anything I say or do offends you. Sharing this information will help me help you more effectively.
